• I love capturing that moment.
That moment when fleeting light attaches itself to an object in a magical way.
That moment when surprise turns to tears or smiles turn to laughter.
That moment when you feel you have the world in the palm of your hand.
That moment when you realize you don’t.
That moment when you delight in your youthful
spirit no matter what age you are.

  • It might be a moment I’ve intently planned and
choreographed or one that I stumble upon as it
unfolds in front of me. It can be when I am surrounded
by a world of people or when I am alone with my
thoughts and wandering camera in hand. I love seeing
those moments through my lens and hearing the shutter click.

In that moment I know I have captured something wonderful.

  • LET’S GET SOCIAL!

Are you tired of using stock photos in your business marketing? You are not alone and I can certainly help. I receive many calls from business owners needing a way for them to stand out from the crowd. One such client was Reger Vein & Skin Specialists, located here in The Woodlands Texas. They were looking to capture not only images of an actual client, but also wanting to print a large scale marketing piece. They were looking to promote some of their treatments on a banner showcasing the un-retouched results from one of their clients. The final banner was printed life-size and displayed in their office foyer.

Your business needs may be very different. My aim is to provide custom solutions for all my commercial clients. I would love to help you promote and grow your business.

Delivered the final corporate video to ZT Motors. Their project included full video production services. I worked closely with them to realize their concept and objectives; including script editing, location scouting, production, and final editing.

Just in case your stocking wasn’t stuffed quite enough, I saw this cool little gadget that might help you bring in the new year without the remnants of holiday treats or family road trip odor stinking up your car. It doesn’t have a fun and catchy name, but the car plug-in air purifier promises quite a bit for it’s small package. “Its built-in ionizer will boost your vehicle’s air quality, zapping foul odors and filtering out irritating allergens like dust and pollen and it produces no fragrance while cleaning the air.”

While I do enjoy pretending to be on a tropical island with my current car air-freshener, sometimes the smell of pineapple or ocean breeze just can’t outdo the aroma of preteen children. This gadget may have to compete with your phone charger for the car outlet, but if you don’t have to smell feet or the lingering aroma of your last takeout run, it’s worth it.

I saw a couple other cool gadgets that made the digg’s top ten list for 2016. More things to spend that holiday cash on. Enjoy!

I ended my business year with the coldest session I’ve experienced so far in Texas. Granted, it does not compare with the freezing weddings I shot with Summer Potter up in Palmyra, NY. We had to suit up in snowsuits to get through those. However, for Texas, a 40-degree breezy day is pretty frigid. The Stirling-Sanders family were total troopers though. They assured me prior to meeting, that being Canadian they are somewhat immune to the cold. Perfect! They were right and the portraits really show the fun we had.

Interior designer, Jillian O’Neill, has recently debuted a new piece in her signature furniture collection.  I enjoyed helping Jillian capture images of this beautiful bench, and as you can see in the photos, the proportion and modern simplicity of this piece make it very versatile. It adds a touch of elegance to any room.  Jillian plans to extend her furniture line in the near future with more pieces, that like the Emma bench are available for your customization. Her website contains details of

“a stunning selection of lacquered wood species, luxe textiles, exotic stones, and hand-cast metals that are available to customize each piece in the collection to your unique tastes. Choose the materials and finishes that fit your personal surroundings to make each piece your own.”

You can read more about Jillian and her work on her website, Jillian O’Neill Interior Design. Or, go right to her Collection site for her offerings.
