• I love capturing that moment.
That moment when fleeting light attaches itself to an object in a magical way.
That moment when surprise turns to tears or smiles turn to laughter.
That moment when you feel you have the world in the palm of your hand.
That moment when you realize you don’t.
That moment when you delight in your youthful
spirit no matter what age you are.

  • It might be a moment I’ve intently planned and
choreographed or one that I stumble upon as it
unfolds in front of me. It can be when I am surrounded
by a world of people or when I am alone with my
thoughts and wandering camera in hand. I love seeing
those moments through my lens and hearing the shutter click.

In that moment I know I have captured something wonderful.

  • LET’S GET SOCIAL!

I recently photographed a select baseball team for their individual and team photos. Their main goal was to provide an alternative to the typical sports photography packages that never seem to “fit” every family’s needs. Their coach also wanted to create a team banner that could be posted on their dugout for games. We took several different team photos and this is one of the banner options I sent them. We asked the boys to give us an intimidation glare–love all the different expressions we got here. Of course the banner can be further customized with sponsor information, player names or any other information. It’s a fun way to have team spirit!

Business head shots need to be appropriate to your industry but should still show your personality. When you are new to a company and need to match the color and look of the current personnel page, there are plenty of ways to do that. For Katie’s company, there was a mix of both studio and natural light head shots of her colleagues but all were created with cool to medium background tones. We were able to capture some natural light images with a medium background color to allow her to fit in with her colleagues’ images and we also created a couple head shots with a bold red background that is a company color. This will provide her with options to use different images for her company profile page and her business social media accounts. I love how they turned out.

It’s always fun to photograph itty-bitty babies. And even more so when you know the family well and can share in the joy of their new addition. I photographed baby Henry’s older brother Augie as a newborn a couple of years ago when they added a fourth boy to the mix. Sadly, I had to watch them move away. But then I very happily welcomed them back to The Woodlands with a new little sister, Miss Gemma, in tow and with baby #6 on the way.

It’s definitely a case of “I don’t know how they do it!” when I hang out with them: five boys and one girl and somehow sanity still prevails at their house. Bernadette, being the creative soul that she is, had wonderful ideas for the session and I’m always game to help achieve a client’s vision.

While Henry didn’t want to cooperate with us for some of them (“Gosh, for a newborn he really loves being naked outdoors!”,  said no one ever), he really was a perfect little sleepy model to let us capture so many precious images. I look forward to seeing this little guy grow up with the rest of the clan–but not too fast! There may not be a #7 for this family so we’ll have to enjoy all his sweet baby-ness while we can.

Are you tired of using stock photos in your business marketing? You are not alone and I can certainly help. I receive many calls from business owners needing a way for them to stand out from the crowd. One such client was Reger Vein & Skin Specialists, located here in The Woodlands Texas. They were looking to capture not only images of an actual client, but also wanting to print a large scale marketing piece. They were looking to promote some of their treatments on a banner showcasing the un-retouched results from one of their clients. The final banner was printed life-size and displayed in their office foyer.

Your business needs may be very different. My aim is to provide custom solutions for all my commercial clients. I would love to help you promote and grow your business.

Delivered the final corporate video to ZT Motors. Their project included full video production services. I worked closely with them to realize their concept and objectives; including script editing, location scouting, production, and final editing.
