Time to share a little Throwback Thursday image. I was going through pictures from 2002, and yes, it was a bit scary. At the time we lived in southern Germany. We had no children and spent most of our weekends traveling. We were fortunate to have great friends that we could explore with. Funnily enough, we just got back from a ski trip with this same couple. Now however, we have 5 extra little people in tow and lots more noise. I have so many pictures of Jason and Bob together all over Europe that one might suspect that they were a couple…I guess Gretchen and I were always behind the camera.

Case in point is this example below. This image makes me nostalgic for many things, but mostly for our old friend, Ryan Air. The super cheap airline that jetted us off on many adventures for $30 (wearing most of our clothes and carrying one tiny suitcase)!! The pictures were taken in February outside of Barcelona at the Montserrat Monastery. I was using my first digital camera, an awesome Sony CD Mavica with a whopping 3 Megapixels. Enjoy!
