Nicole and Phillip planned a beautiful sunset wedding on the deck of The Treehouse in The Grove restaurant in Houston. They must have custom ordered their weather because it was just spectacular! We met at the Hotel Icon for portrait shots that afternoon and wandered around using all the wonderful rooms and decor. They both have such wonderful easy going personalities and were up for a “First Look” before the ceremony.  We planned to have them meet at the corner outside the hotel and just before the meet up Nicole was overtaken by a pack of Zombies! She was a great sport to take a picture with them because I’m sure all she was thinking about was them getting their fake blood on her gorgeous dress.

After the “First Look” we had time for a few more quiet moments outside The Grove before heading up to the ceremony. Their timeline worked out perfectly to capture their nuptials bathed in lovely light and surrounded by an intimate group of family and friends.

Their celebration was heavy on laughter, good food and drink and LOTS of dancing! I think Nicole was in almost every image of the dance floor! Once the sun set, the beautiful lights of The Treehouse came on and there was a magical feeling in the air as the party carried on high in the trees and surrounded by Houston’s lit up skyline. It was a true pleasure to be a part of Nicole and Phillip’s special day.
